Amanda Zappler, Au.D., CCC-A brings 24 years of experience to Hill Country Audiology. She became an audiologist after discovering her youngest child had a hearing loss and learning how powerful the right hearing healthcare provider can be. Dr. Zappler strives to provide patient-centered care to empower people with hearing impairments to reconnect with the world around them.
Dr. Zappler received a Doctorate in Audiology from A.T. Still University, a Master of Arts in Audiology from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders- Audiology from the University of Texas at Austin. She is certified by The American Speech-Language Hearing Association and is an adjunct professor of Audiology at A.T. Still University.
Dr. Zappler specializes in diagnostic audiology, amplifying systems, aural rehabilitation, aging auditory systems, teleaudiology, specialty products for hearing conservation and hearing loss related to noise exposure. She has worked as an educator, private practice clinical audiologist, hospital audiologist, and manufacturer’s technical audiologist and trainer.
Dr. Zappler is married with two adult children and three grandchildren. She enjoys painting, time with family and friends, hiking and playing with her two dogs.
